Nahid Rahman

Nahid Rahman is a digital asset compliance professional and cryptocurrency investigator. An electrical engineer by education and a former university instructor, Nahid has spent over a decade in project & product management before moving to the governance-risk-compliance arena.

 Nahid has completed a range of professional training and certification in the cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence and blockchain space. Nahid is a Certified Bitcoin Professional (CBP), Certified Cryptocurrency Investigator (CCI), CipherTrace Certified Examiner (CTCE), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and Certified Financial Crime Specialists (CFCS). He has successfully completed Crypto AML Certification from Basel Institute of Governance and Cryptoasset Compliance Virtual Bootcamp offered by FINTRAIL and Elliptic.

Nahid has achieved his Chainalysis Cryptocurrency Fundamentals Certification (CCFC) and Chainalysis Reactor Certification (CRC). He is active in regulatory working groups at Open Banking Initiative Canada and Crypto Valley Association. He is also a member of The Defender’s League team. Through TCAE, Nahid has coordinated several study groups and training programs aimed at both traditional and crypto compliance certifications.
